2 C. self rising flour

8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (shred your own for this recipe)

1 1/2 to 1 1/3 C. milk (whole milk works best)

2 T. butter, melted

In a bowl, combine the flour and cheese. Gradually add the milk, mixing until moist and sticky. You’re not making dough here, you want a little more moisture than if you were making regular cookies. Once combined, use a small ice cream scoop (spray with cooking spray to make it easier) and scoop out some of the mixture and place the mounds on a lightly greased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake them at 350 degrees.. in the oven for 18-22 minutes, brush with melted butter when cooked.
